Trainee

Congratulations you are brand new to the team. In order to graduate to the next stage, you must:

Team Member

As a team member you should have complete all days of training and pass you New Team Member test.

As a team member you will be responsible delieering CORE 4 all day every day (Maintain eye contact, share smile, speak in a friendly tone, say my pleasure) You will also be responsible for executing 2nd mile service all day everyday.

Coach

The coaches role is the first setp in leadership. You will be responsible for coaching trainees an team members. We use inspire1440.com coaching schedule to do the training.

To become a coach, contact your training lead to schedule a coaching class with them.

Team Leader

A team leader is the next path in leadership. To become a team leader, the first thing you need to do is schedule a time with Marcus to do leadership traininng. Make sure you have your Director of Operations Support. You must complete leadership training and pass to be eligible for promotion.

This promotion does come with a pay raise. But you will also have an increase of responsibility in the store. You will primarily be responsible for supporting the Shift Leader. You will also be responsible for developing coaches and team leaders.

MOre on this role will be discussed during training.

Shift Leader

A shift leader is the next path in leadership. To become a shift leader, you must contact your Director of Operations for you expression of interest. After that, you will scheduled a time to sit with Jerry and go over leadership. After that, you will begin a 4 phase training program that will teach you how to become a Shift Leader. After you finish the 4 phases, you will be promoted

Your direct responsibility will be running the shift you work and develop team leaders. You may also be given other small responsibilities.

Coordinator

There are two different types of Coordinators, Winning Hearts and Business. The Winning Hearts Coordinators will focus on the Winning Hearts Strategy in the restaurants. The business Coordinators will own a specific aspects of the buiness that needs guidance. To become a Coordinator, contact Marcus or your Director of Operations of the store. There is an application and interview process to go through based on the area of business. This is a full time commitment.

Director

A director is the last path of leaderhsip for Chick-fil-A Garner. To become a director you must set up an interview with Jerry (Contact Marcus or your Director of Operations)

A director is directly responsible for all aspects of the business. They are responsible for the big picutre of the business and the execution strategy. Making sure the business succeeds in the 5 Critical Success Factors. They are growth minded, develpment focused, and future determined. 

This is also a full time and 2+ year commitment. There is heavy responsibility throughout the business.

Operator

While the director level may be the last path of leadership at Chick-fil-A Garner, it is not the last path you can take. For those interested in being an Operator, schedule a time to meet with Jerry. He will walk you through what it takes to become an operator.
